The super bowl is a time where families and friends can get together
and watch one of America’s favorite supports and eat some of the best
foods. Many are called “un-American” for
not watching the game. The most watched televised
event every year by millions of Americans, and other people all around the
world. Where the NFC and AFCs best teams
get together and battle it out in the most epic and intense football games of
the year. Wings, fries, chips, pop,
beer, and football, some of America’s favorite things, all put together.
The day is seen as a holiday to many people, super bowl
XLVIII this year when the Denver Broncos take on the Seattle Sehawks. The broncos are favored to win and if you ask
just about anyone, they’ll say go Broncos!
Several jokes have been going around saying that it’s a funny coincidence
that the Broncos and the Seahawks are from the only two states that have
legalized marijuana this year. Surly
there is no correlation but it’s funny to joke around about.
The average American consumes just around 2,000 calories
during the 3 hour span of the game. This
is usually just short of what one person eats in a day, but in three
hours! Some of the greasiest foods are
made and everyone loves it. Some of the
most popular foods include wings, chips, brownies, and several others.
While many watch the game merely for the sport, several
others watch it for the commercials. Yes
the commercials, one of the only times of the year where anyone wants to watch commercials. Therefore making it an overall pleasurable
experience, with nonstop comedy and action.
