Celebrities Getting into Trouble

Several celebrities have been getting into trouble lately- from Justin Bieber to Kanye West, It seems like there is no stopping them.  It seems as though almost all celebrities have gotten into trouble or been caught in fights or doing drugs and other illegal substances.  Why is it that celebrities are always the ones to get into trouble? Why don’t we hear of them having to serve any jail time or pay large fines usually? And lastly, should celebrities be watched more closely because they are constantly getting into trouble?

Perhaps celebrities are caught so often because they are the most watched of everyone in the world.  With crazy paparazzos to creepy fans, there is just no having any time to yourself as a celebrity.  Regular people like you and I most likely wouldn’t get caught doing several of these things nearly as often as celebrities would, and that’s because we aren’t being watched by millions of people every day.

Next I come to my second question-why don’t we hear of celebrities having to serve jail time or pay large fines?  It seems as though just because these people are rich and famous, they can get off with almost any crime.  Why are some celebrities caught regularly doing illegal things, but yet they face no consequences?  Maybe it’s because several are arrogant and don’t care giving up a few thousand dollars for getting into a fight or drag racing in the streets, of their several million.  Don’t get me wrong, the majority of famous people around the US are wonderful people who help several millions of people by spreading their wealth out of the kindness of their hearts.  I don’t believe I would be wrong to say that every really famous person has donated a lot of money to some charity. However there are still some people that have little respect for others and the community.

My best advice would be to watch celebrities more closely and make sure they learn their lessons and face their consequences for doing such crimes.

Terrorists Threaten Winter Olympics

The Olympics: a time where all the nations of the world can join together in peace and compete in a variety of sporting events-or not so much, as far as peace goes.  With the Winter Olympics just around the corner, there have been some complications.  The American and European teams traveling to Sochi, Russia have received emailed threats from supposed terrorists.  The terrorists suggested that they would impose “strikes” on the athletes and their supporters if they participate in the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Upon receiving these threats about the upcoming Olympic Games, the National Olympics Committee became mildly concerned regarding the safety of the athletes and spectators of the games.  The committee began to think that the imposed threats were phony, after further investigation.  They finally came to be almost certain that the threats were lacking credibility, and not real.  Authorities believe this to be true because the emailed threat was made somewhere outside Russia, and the person making the threats, has made additional threats in the past-but has never come through.

Although the supposed threat was proved to be fake, many people began to worry about the threats.  People began to “roar in fear” at the imposed threats, believing that in fact-they might actually be real and everyone would be in danger.  Because of the mass panic in Russia, an army of 40,000 men was deployed everywhere the Olympic Games would be taking place.  They have told people to look for a particular woman, whom they have a vivid description of.  They believe the woman could be a potential suicide bomber, just to be cautious.  Three suicide bombings have occurred in the last 3 months, killing 34 people in all.  These suicide bombers have imposed threats via a video on the internet, stating that they will attack again during the Olympics.

The White House has agreed to supply full assistance in security during the games in Russia.  The USA even had a meeting lately, and they stated that they would be sharing their bomb detecting equipment at the games, to protect anyone who may be a victim from potential harm.  With just about 2 weeks until the games begin in Russia on February 2^nd, it’s a race against time to take all safety precautions necessary to prevent any disasters from occurring.

Justin Bieber Getting into More Trouble

Now just less than a week after the popular teen music stars home was searched, Bieber has was arrested earlier this morning on drunk driving charges.  Sources say that Bieber was intoxicated and was drag racing in the streets of Miami.  Bieber was driving on a suspended license 4am Thursday morning when a cop pulled him over.  Bieber, very frustrated, started shouting at the officer, using very poor language, demanding to know why exactly pulled over.

Bieber was booked in jail soon after being arrested and failing a sobriety test.  Bieber told authorities that he was intoxicated, was under the influence of marijuana, and had some prescription medicine.  Bieber has had many problems with prescription medicine lately and sources say that Bieber has been addicted for a while now and take it every day.

Early Thursday morning, a police officer saw a yellow Lamborghini racing a red Ferrari in a residential neighborhood.  The police officer stated that they were going almost 60 miles per hour in a 30 mile per hour zone.  The officer pulled Bieber over but claims Bieber was not cooperating with the officer.  Bieber ignored the officers demand to keep his hands on the wheel while the officer did a pat down for weapons.  The officer said later that Bieber had a flushed face, red eyes, and the smell of alcohol on his breath.
This may be Biebers first time in a lot of trouble, but he still has gotten into a lot of trouble in the past.  Just a week ago he was believed to be egging his neighbors house because where the eggs hit the house was facing biebers home. The police showed up to Biebers home with a search warrant the very next day.  Bieber has also gotten several driving tickets and many people have said he drives very arrogantly.  Lastly but not least, he has gotten caught on camera with alcohol and drugs in his hands multiple times.  Although he hasn’t really been caught by authorities, until now- he still has been pictured doing both at parties.

The car that Bieber was racing held 19 year old Jam recording artist Khalil Shareiff, who was also arrested on a drunk driving charge.  Many photos of the two were posted onto social media sites before the incident.  This was the first official time Bieber has been arrested, and there are talks of him being deported back to Canada.  Since Bieber has announced his so called “retirement” Christmas eve he has gotten into a lot more trouble lately.  Hopefully this incident really opened up his eyes to see what the real world is actually like- and even though you’re famous, youre never above the law.

Seattle Seahawks All-star Corner Richard Sherman Gets Cocky on Live TV

Sunday January 19^th marked the second to last games of the season, the NFC and AFC championship games.  Which started off with 32 teams, was down to four, but is now just down to two teams, one representing the AFC and NFC who will both battle it out in the super bowl.  The Denver Broncos took on the New England Patriots, taking the early lead and coming out with a victory over the patriots.  The Seahawks took on the 49ers later Sunday coming out with a 23-17 victory.  After the game, FOX network was interviewing players, broadcasted all around the nation.  When one FOX news reporter came to interview Seattle’s corner, Richard Sherman, he had a lot to say.

Sherman, the defensive corner for the Seahawks, has been a great player for the team throughout the season.  After the Seahawks won the Championship, a FOX news sports reporter came up to Sherman to interview him about the game.  The reporter asked Sherman to take her through the game and how he won it for the game and he then replied immediately screaming “Well I’m the best corner in the game”, getting, a little too cocky.  He then went on to say “when you match me with a sorry receiver like Crabtree, that’s what you’re going to get”.  Sherman was still trash talking the 49ers receiver Michael Crabtree, even in his live interview!

Sherman went on his rant saying Crabtree was talking a lot of crap about Sherman, and he was obviously frustrated.  The very cocky corner went on to say “Don’t you ever open your mouth about the best or I’m going to shut it for you real quick” referring to the 49ers receiver Crabtree.  The corner finally ended his interview screaming “L.O.B” which standing for legion of boom, the Seahawks defensive nickname.

Many people went off about Sherman’s rant on social media sites, making his name a very hot topic Sunday night.  She Seahawks will take on the Broncos on Sunday February 2^nd in super bowl XLVIII.  Hopefully reporters talk to Sherman after the game just to see what great things he has to say after the game.

Kanye West Beats Man who Calls Kim K an “N-Word lover”

Kanye West  allegedly attacked an 18 year old man inside the waiting room of a chiropractor's office because the man reportedly called his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian an ‘N-word lover”.  All of this happened just outside Los Angles, California on last Monday.

Kim Kardashian, Kanye Wests Girlfriend, was at a Beverly Hills medical building when there was several of paparazzo’s surrounding her.  Sources revealed that the 18 year old allegedly tried to help Kim get in the Beverly Hills Medical Center building.  Then he reportedly started screaming very derogatory words at the paparazzi, saying something that was very offensive referring to the paparazzi.  Kim then told the 18 year old that it was not appropriate for him to use the N-word.  The man then reportedly screamed at Kim, calling her bad names, referring to a woman who works in the streets.  He then screamed at her saying her was just trying to help her out, then he called her an “n-word” lover, referring to Kanye West, her boyfriend.
Evidently, those comments got Kim extremely angry at the boy.  She then watched the 18 year old boy walk into an office.  She then heard him talking to another person about Kim, then she had had enough.  She then called Kanye on her cell phone and explained to him the situation.  When the 18 year old realized that Kanye was the one on the phone, he then allegedly screamed, "F you N-word” directed at Kanye.  At this same time, Kanye was pulling up to the building to meet up with Girlfriend Kim, and he rushed in.
Sources then report that Kanye and Kim rushed together into a waiting room,  and then found the 18-year-old boy sitting there.  Witnesses then report that  Kanye punched the guy multiple times as Kim screamed out “We have it all on tape”, referring to what the boy said.
People then say the massage therapist in the office separated Kanye and the young man.  Beverly Hills cops were then called, and upon arrival, the 18 year old boy said he wanted to press charges toward Kanye.
Law enforcement sources say that Kanye is now a suspect in this investigation and they wanted to interview him, to get his side of the story.  The attack is still under investigation to confirm exactly what the boy said to Kanye, but Kanye is sure to be in even more trouble.  Kanye is still currently facing other assault charges involving a photographer at LAX.

Justin Bieber Getting into Trouble with the Law

Once just an innocent young teenaged music star has now turned into an arrogant and selfish young man.  On more than once occasion has Bieber been caught on camera with drugs or alcohol in his hands, and now he’s getting into a lot more trouble.  Bieber has had several run ins’ with the police because of his dangerous and speedy driving.  Now, Bieber is at it again-accused of launching a full blown, all out egging of the neighbor’s home.  Although police are still unsure of exactly who led the so called attacking, they know for certain the launchings were from Biebers yard.

Although it may not seem like that big of a deal, egging’s actually cause a lot of damage to homes and vehicles.  Once dried, the egg can chip paint upon removal and therefore could cost hundreds of dollars in repair costs.

After being reported, police received a warrant to enter Biebers house and search for evidence that may have led to the massive egging.  Police were reportedly looking to seize his security tapes from the night, but also ended up taking Biebers phone as evidence as well.  Police say they were going to search for photo or video evidence from the egging or texts sent or received about the alleged egging.

What police did find was something else.  Lil Za was arrested for possession and usage of cocaine.  Now police believe the substance wasn’t actually cocaine but believe that the substance is molly, which is actually a form of ecstasy.

Although Bieber assures reporters that asked him about the incident that they won’t find any evidence that proves Bieber guilty, however Bieber did say that he is worried what else they would find.  Bieber didn’t get into specifics, but he did state that he was scared authorizes would find messages about drug references or usage.  Although it won’t be near enough for Bieber to get in trouble, he still says he is worried.  Bieber also stated that he was scared that authorities would possibly find nude photographs on his phone.  Bieber didn’t state weather or not these photographs would be of himself or someone else, and he also stated that he was afraid that if authorities found them that they would leak out to the public.

Bieber and his representative are choosing to stay quiet about the event, not giving anything away that may cause Bieber to get into trouble.  Whether or not Bieber is found guilty or not of the egging, people are realizing he’s just a bad egg.

New Jersey Bridge Scandal

New Jersey’s republican governor Chris Christine claims that he had no knowledge of the reason behind the bridge closure late last September.  Sources say that the governor’s aides were the ones to order the bridge closure, and not governor Christine. Evidently, the reason for closing the bridge was to punish the democratic Forty Lee mayor, for not backing Christine’s reelection.  New Jersey’s governor, Chris Christine, was said to be a likely candidate for the upcoming 2016 presidential election.

In a later press conference Thursday morning in Trenton, New Jersey the governor claimed ignorance, stating multiple times that he was innocent and didn’t know about the bridge closure, or at least the reason behind the lane closures.  Governor Christine ended up firing his deputy chief of staff for leading the lane closures in the desperate attempt to seek revenge.  However, whether or not he knew of the reasons behind the closures, is he ultimately indirectly guilty for the lane closures for not having any suspicions about the closures?  That’s the main question that’s being asked in the case, where authorities are trying to decide if the governor was actually guilty or didn’t actually know.  The state’s legislative committee has yet to find any source of proof that would prove Governor Christine’s guilt behind the scandal on the bridge.  However no evidence has been found yet, the search is still on, and although it will be hard to find any solid evidence that the governor Christine is guilty, they continue to search.

The case is still under investigation because there was a hazard caused with the bridge being closed which put many people’s safety in danger.  The bridge was closed for a total of 5 days before finally reopening.  The bridge is the busiest bridge in all or New Jersey.  However evidence is yet to be found to convict governor Christine guilty, there has ban a few emails that were sent getting a few others in trouble.  Kelly sent an email to David Weildstein “time for some traffic problems in Fort Lee”.  Later on Weildstein replied to the email saying “got it”.  These two are obviously guilty behind the scandal.  However the two are in trouble, more players are suspected and the hunt is still on.

Extreme Cold Makes Its Way Across the US : Causes Cancelations

Scientists say, that because of the world’s climate slowly rising, cold fronts are a lot harder to detect, as the one that hit the US late last weekend and all through the week.  Extreme cold temperatures such as the one that recently hit the US, happens about once every four years.  The extreme colds caused many schools across the US to be delayed and canceled.  Many argue that schools should still be in session, even through the extreme cold; but I’m here to argue otherwise.

There are several reasons why schools should be canceled due to the extreme cold.  First I’m going to ask: How to the majority of students get to school?  Surely the first thing that arises in your head is the bus.  Just one of the vary reasons schools were canceled, because students take the bus to school and they all have to walk to their bus stops and wait for the bus.  They may not have to wait long, maybe 3-6 minutes, but when temperatures are well below freezing, frostbite can be easy to get.  Also, what would happen if a bus wouldn’t work or would be behind because the freezing temperatures?  Would we let the students stand at the bus stop for several minutes and freeze?  Of course the answer is no, which is the very reason why we cancel schools.

Not all students take the bus, some drive themselves, and others have their parents drive them, and what about the other group of students that live close to school?  Many students, who live a set distance, usually about 2 miles away from school, don’t have a bus to take them to school.  This leaves the students with only a couple options, get a ride from their parents a friend or they would have to walk.  Many of the student’s parents have to go to work, and they wouldn’t be able to take their students to school, and if they’re unable to catch a ride with a friend, they’ll have to walk or ride a bike.  Don’t get me wrong, this is a very few students, but they’re still students.  If even a single student had to walk several minutes to school in the freezing cold, it wouldn’t be fair at all, and schools should be canceled.

Lastly, how do the other groups of students get to school but by car, and what do cold temperatures mean for cars?  Many cars wouldn’t be able to start because of the extreme cold, which leaves the students or their parents no way to get them to school.

For all the naive people who think school should still be in session through the cold, when the temperatures drop to near or below 0, I dare you to try walking to work.

Colorado Runs Out of Recreational Marijuana

The dreaded day has come for some, just weeks after Colorado has made Marijuana legal for recreational use, the supply has almost completely run out.  A booming market since the day of legalization, the business has several buyers.  There are a total of almost 20 dispensaries in all throughout just Denver alone, and one has completely run out of recreational marijuana which others are on the verge of running out.

Signs posted outside of one of the shops selling recreational marijuana on Monday read “We are currently out of recreational cannabis.  Please check back tomorrow”.  In a rather comical statement given to the Huffington Post, a representative from the store told people “not to worry” and also said that the store gets daily shipments of the recreational cannabis, so there is sure to be plenty more of the product coming to the store just within a few days.

The use of recreational, meaning legal for the free use to anyone (of age), became legal in Colorado since New Year’s Day.  On the very first day, there were large lines of people lining up outside the store.  Since then, stores selling recreational cannabis have been extremely busy, selling a lot of marijuana.  These dispensaries sell much more than just the plant alone.  The stores even have several specials, just like any normal product.  There’s an early bird special that gives 10% off in the mornings.  Tuesdays there are 3 for 2 pre rolled “cones” and Thursdays there are 2 for 1 “hash capsules”.

Many think that the massive rush of people buying the recreational product will eventually die down, and that many just want it because it’s legal for the first time.  Now is this necessarily a good or bad thing? I would say it’s a great thing.  No harm is being done and it’s boosting the economy (which is much needed).  One of the greatest benefits is that the legalization of recreational marijuana is that its creating hundreds, if not thousands, of jobs.  Yet another great benefit because of the legalization is it juristically reduces the war or drugs that police officers and the DEA is fighting.
